Fostering Our Future

May is national Foster Care month. This is a time to recognize the efforts of those who make a difference in the lives of foster children. Nearly 7,300 Wisconsin children are in out of home care every year, and there are more than 4,100 foster care parents in the state who open their homes and lives to help these children. They impact the lives of our children every day and work toward the mission of DCF - to protect children, strengthen families, and build communities.
