Child Care Subsidy/Certification Advisory Committee

Department of Children and Families (DCF) has established a committee in conjunction with the Wisconsin County Human Services Association (WCHSA) Economic Support Policy Advisory Committee (ES PAC) to give county human service departments input on child care subsidy (CCS) and certification program policies and procedures.

The CCS advisory committee consists of members from county human services departments involved , W-2 agencies involved in CCS eligibility, administration and provider certification; the DCF Milwaukee child care bureau; W-2 agencies involved with CCS eligibility; child care resource and referral agencies involved in CCS administration or provider certification; and other interested parties.

The committee currently meets on a bi-monthly basis.  Meetings will generally be scheduled at the DCF on the third Friday of the month at 8:30am so that individuals who attend the W-2 Contract and Implementation (C&I) meeting in the late morning can come early and participate in the the CCS advisory committee meeting.  The meeting will also be conducted by teleconference to allow broad participation.
