The R.E.W.A.R.D.™ WISCONSIN Stipend Program is a compensation initiative that provides stipends directly to teachers, providers, and directors based upon their current level on The Registry Recognition System.

Stipends in 2001 were awarded to individuals who are at Level 5 or above, and who met additional eligibility requirements. At each Registry Level, two stipend amounts were awarded. Individuals who identified that they work less than 5% of their time directly with children were awarded the lesser stipend amount.

The above chart illustrates the stipends associated with each of The Registry levels. It includes the stipend amounts awarded this first pilot year, and the amounts that would be awarded in the full vision of this program. Implementation of the full vision of the R.E.W.A.R.D.™ WISCONSIN Stipend Program will require public and private investment.
