Commentary Manual Updated 12/05/08
The purpose of the manual is to help providers/certifying staff understand the intent and application of the rule. An attempt has been made to offer commentary for those rules where experience indicates clarification would be helpful. However, a commentary cannot be written to cover every situation encountered. The comments are written in boxes with italicized print.

This manual replaces Chapter 4 of the Day Care Manual. This manual was developed as a guide for certifying agencies how to administer Child Care Certification Program.

This manual was developed to give child care certification agencies a thorough overview of the Caregiver Law and how the law pertains to child care certification.
