Direct Deposit for Provider Payments
Foster and kinship care providers in Milwaukee County may have
their provider payments deposited directly into their checking accounts.

Care and Adoption Resource Center
Wisconsin's Foster Care & Adoption Resource Center is a partnership
between:
- The Wisconsin Department of Health & Family Services
- Adoption Resources of Wisconsin
- St. Aemilian's-Lakeside, Inc.
- PATH Wisconsin Inc.
Kids Matter, Inc.
Advocacy and support for foster and kinship care families.
Also operates the Milwaukee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program
in which volunteers are trained to support children in foster care
and advocate for on their behalf.

Child Welfare Partnership for Professional Development (MCWPPD)
(Links to training schedule.) Provides training for licensing and renewal of licensure for foster and
adoptive parents. This is a partnership with the University of
Wisconsin?Milwaukee, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare.
Mobile Urgent
Treatment Team for Foster Families
Assistance for Milwaukee County foster families in coping with
behavioral or mental health issues in times of crisis. Phone

Office of the Milwaukee Ombudsman for Child Welfare
If after following BMCW's established complaint process, the family,
child, or advocate is still unsatisfied with the management of a
case by BMCW, the Ombudsman can be called to mediate.

Subsidized
Guardianship Program
This program provides relatives who are licensed foster parents the
option of becoming legal guardians with continued financial assistance.
Families are chosen through a random selection process.
