Child support & W-2 services
If you get W-2 services, but do not get cash benefits, you:
- automatically get child support services
- do not have to pay the application fee, but other fees may apply
- must cooperate with their child support agency in order to get the W-2 services
- will get all the support paid
W-2 services that do not get cash benefits are:
- W-2 Trial Job
- help paying for child care (Wisconsin Shares program)
- W-2 Case Management Services
- Emergency Assistance
- W-2 Custodial Parent of an Infant program, but never received W-2 or AFDC cash benefits in the past
