Kids Information Data System (KIDS)

KIDS is the computer system the Wisconsin child support agencies use to enter:

  • information about your child support case,
  • any orders issued by a court for support of your child and family,
  • all debts owed on behalf of the child and family,
  • all payments made on behalf of the child and family,
  • notes about all actions taken on your child support case.

KIDS gets information from other state agencies that might help the child support program manage your case. For example, KIDS gets information from the systems that manage public aid (TANF, foster care) so child support agencies know when to turn on or off the assignment of child support payments. KIDS gets information that can be used to locate absent parents.

You may view some of your KIDS case data on the secure Child Support Online Services (CSOS) web site. To set up your CSOS access, and log in to your CSOS account, go to http://dcf.wisconsin.gov/bcs/payments/logon.htm.
