Who can I call if I have questions about my debit card?
You can call Chase at 1-866-817-0761 (toll free), 24 hours/day. This
phone number will be on the back of your card.
Please do not call this number until after you get your card. Chase cannot answer any questions about your debit card until you receive your card.
What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
You must call Chase at their toll-free number (1-866-817-0761) to report a lost or stolen card within 60 days. They will send you a new card.
You will not be responsible for any fraudulent activity/purchases that occur on your card if you report the card missing within 60 days, and if you have not shared your card or PIN number with anyone.
Debit card accounts used fraudulently can be permanently closed. This will only occur after the Chase has consulted with the Bureau of Child Support.
Can someone use my card if I say it is ok?
You should never let anyone else use your card. You should never tell someone else your PIN. If you do, you might not be protected if your card is lost or stolen.
See the question above for information about lost and stolen cards.
If I move after I get my debit card, who do I contact?
The easiest way is to call Chase's toll free number (1-866-817-0761), and tell them your new address. Changing your address with
Chase will also update your address with your child support agency.
If you change your address by using the Child Support Online Services website or by calling your child support agency, you still need to call Chase.
Remember, state law requires you to update your address with your child support agency within 10 days.
How do I change my name on the debit card?
You must contact your child support agency
if you change your name or need to update/correct other information.
Your name change will be sent to Chase. You will get a new card showing your new name. There is no charge for this new card.
See the question above for information on who to contact if you move.
