This page contains information relating to the Financial, Case Management Interface (CMI) and  Customer Interfaces.  It also contains information on the Replication (REPL) and Financial Interface.

Replication (REPL)

The eWisacwis Replicator is a Java application that will replicate, or copy the counties eWiSACWIS data from a master Oracle database to a local county Oracle Lite database.

Case Management Interface

This interface is designed to populate local county case management systems with county specific data that has been entered into eWiSACWIS. The State/County workgroup has approved the technical specifications including identifying what data will be passed, the format of the data, and the method used to send this information.

Financial Interface

This interface is a two-way interface between the county financial system and eWiSACWIS. The purpose of this interface is to send a file from eWiSACWIS to the county so checks can be printed and sent out using the county’s current financial system. The county will send back a file with check numbers, as an update to the eWiSACWIS database. Currently, all counties are in the process of developing a financial interface with eWiSACWIS.

Common Intake Agent (CIA)

This interface is designed to minimize duplicate entry for counties that already have an automated intake system they use for initiating social services in addition to child welfare services. A county worker will enter a standard phone intake information into the current common intake system and then if it is decided that the intake is Child Welfare, it will be sent to eWiSACWIS as a MQSeries message. eWiSACWIS will turn this message into a pending intake, and the worker will continue with the CPS intake by entering any remaining information into the eWiSACWIS intake and assign it to their supervisor for screening (or as county process dictates). The CIA State/County workgroup has approved the design and basic functionality of this interface. A report containing  a complete list of all Intakes that have been entered via CIA will be available in eWiSACWIS for Intake workers and supervisors.
