Six Nations Iroquois Confederacy
Eleven federally recognized Indian tribes, bands, or communities are located within the boundaries of the State of Wisconsin. Each of these tribes, bands, or communities has an Indian Child Welfare Director who is the primary contact for ICWA inquiries.
